The exhaust manifold is tasked with collecting the gasses from your engine’s cylinders and merging them into the exhaust piping.  The diameter, length, and routing of the exhaust manifold can drastically effect the power output of your engine.  The design of your exhaust manifold affects more than just the maximum output of your engine; it also affects the low-end and mid-range characteristics of your powerband.  The right exhaust manifold upgrade can help you extract the most from your vehicle at an RPM.

The proper manifold for your engine is determined by the power generated by each cylinder and the portion of the RPM range most vital to the vehicle’s performance.  Although header(s) can be helpful in naturally aspirated applications, turbo manifolds have a much more significant impact on performance.
