The Haltech Platinum Sprint 500 is the latest generation of engine
management solutions for a standalone replacement. Featuring four channels capable of injection and ignition, the Sprint 500 is ideal for
sequential injection and direct fire ignition four cylinder engines with high impedance injectors.
The Sprint 500 ECU may not run all vehicles; please contact us in regards to custom applications. This package is sold for wire-in usage only. The long flying lead
harness measures approximately six feet in length, and provides flying
wiring leads for wiring into your vehicle as a custom application. Many
popular applications have plug-in harnesses available, so only choose
this option if a plug-in option does not exist, and you have the wiring
knowledge to complete the wiring. Includes Sprint 500 ECU, flying lead
harness, USB connection cable, and software CD.
The Platinum Sprint series uses a very user-friendly tuning interface
that is capable with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
Communication is also fed through USB cable, so no need to worry about
outdated serial connections. Onboard and laptop data logging is easily
viewed through Haltech software. All software and firmware updates are
free and readily available online at www.haltech.com.
The Sprint 500 allows for two
additional user-defined auxiliary outputs. Examples of
outputs and features include:

* Tuning via Volumetric Efficiency (VE) or injection time
