The Haltech Platinum Sport 1000 is the latest generation of engine
management solutions for a standalone replacement. Featuring eight
channels capable of injection and ignition, the Sport 1000 is ideal for
sequential injection and direct fire ignition for engines with up to
four cylinders, or a two rotor engine. With semi-sequential injection
and wasted spark ignition, the Sport 1000 can also control up to eight
cylinder engines.
The Sport 1000 ECU may not run all vehicles; please contact us in regards to custom applications. This package is sold for wire-in usage only. The long flying lead
harness measures approximately six feet in length, and provides flying
wiring leads for wiring into your vehicle as a custom application. Many
popular applications have plug-in harnesses available, so only choose
this option if a plug-in option does not exist, and you have the wiring
knowledge to complete the wiring. Includes Sport 1000 ECU, flying lead
harness, USB connection cable, and software CD.
The Platinum Sport series uses a very user-friendly tuning interface
that is capable with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
Communication is also fed through USB cable, so no need to worry about
outdated serial connections. Onboard and laptop data logging is easily
viewed through Haltech software. All software and firmware updates are
free and readily available online at www.haltech.com.
Depending on configuration, the Sport 1000 allows for up to eight
additional user-defined auxiliary inputs and outputs. Examples of
