Aftermarket sway bars are a cheap and effective way to adjust the handling balance of your vehicle.  Sway bars help to resist body roll and they are an excellent tool for fine tuning the handling characteristics of your vehicle.  Changing the stiffness and increasing the diameter of your vehicle’s sway bars can dramatically change a vehicle’s handling characteristics.  A major appeal of sway bars is that they can have a significant effect on a vehicle’s handling balance without changing the vehicle’s ride quality like a spring change typically would.  Most manufacturers offer their own version of what they consider to be the best sway bar upgrade for your car. These options often vary in bar diameter and increased stiffness (via solid or hollow material). Adjustable sway bars are even available in some cases. The physical specs of sway bars should always be considered carefully before making your selection.
